Currently Kinectrics is developing its business in Romania through Kinectrics Nuclear Romania (KNR), a company registered under the Romanian legislation delivering consultancy and engineering services mainly in power generation with a focus on nuclear technologies as applied at the Cernavoda NPP and, broader, nationally and internationally.
Kinectrics Nuclear Romania (KNR) is looking Project Manager with considerable experience in design and execution projects.
The Project Manager coordinates, supervises, and ensures delivery according to the purpose, price and schedule of the work / projects. Specific Project Manager responsibilities include:
• Ensures the work done by KNR fulfills all the assumed contractual obligations
• Ensures the timely delivery of the project deliverables
• Organizes "Kicks off meetings" for work / project (internal and external)
• Together with the Accountable Authority and the Technical coordinator, ensures the necessary resources for the project / work execution
• Maintain the project risk register during the execution period
• Permanent evaluation of the availability of necessary resources and tools (eg vacancies)
• Prepares the project follow-up form
• Follows the observance of the schedule of the work
• Escalate problems when deviations from the schedule appear
• Initiates the project in SAP and maintains project records
• Ensures that implementation costs are included in the project budget and approves all expenditure related to the coordinated project
• Manages commercial changes between KNR and Customer and Subcontractor (eg prices, change requirements, etc.).
• Approval of contractors' time sheets;
• Follows the progress of deliverables;
• Follows the progress of subcontractors, problems and risk plan;
• Address and negotiate with the client the project changes.
• It is the SPOC between the client and KNR on the general problems of the project.
• Decides together with Accountable Authority how to treat non-conformities and appoints the person responsible for the implementation of corrective actions
• Together with Technical coordinator submits the work for internal approval
• Approves for payment the invoices related to the project / work
• Provides support to the financial department in preparing invoices;
• Follows the closing of the work / project in accordance with the requirements of the KNR’s Integrated Management system (closing of the follow-up sheet).

Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Discipline;
2. Professional certification as project manager.
The Person
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management;
• Knowledge of the SAP software;
• Team player with a pro-active and flexible attitude, and able to work in a challenging environment, with minimal supervision;
• Must be able to communicate at professional level and thus draw together the best information into a multi discipline package for the project;
• PC Literate in MS Windows, Excel, MS Office, MS Project;
• Mature person with cultural sensitivity;
• English proficiency.
The following will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience in managing projects for the nuclear industry, and in particular for CNE Cernavoda
- Proximity to the CNE Cernavoda site
- Demonstrated experience to work in multicultural environments
Job location:
- Main working offices are in Bucharest and Cernavoda, Romania;
- Local / international missions might be required on project basis.
