As a High Voltage Field Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting commissioning and Maintenance Testing on High Voltage and Extra High Voltage AC and DC cable systems in compliance with Industry and International testing standards on client sites. 

This role will require travel within Denmark with occasional travel to other European countries.  You will also have time working remotely at your home writing test reports and planning for site visits with flexible working hours.

 

Job Description

Responsible for conducting commissioning and maintenance testing on High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) AC and DC cable systems in compliance with Industry and International testing standards. 

Commissioning and maintenance testing on cable systems.

Responsible for the execution of Field Testing and diagnosis of HV cable systems.

Assist with the development and implementation of new techniques for High Voltage Testing and Diagnosis on HV and EHV AC and DC cable systems.

Technical analysis of the Partial Discharge Data for OFFLINE commissioning and maintenance testing.

Technical analysis of the Partial Discharge Data for ONLINE diagnosis techniques via the use of analysis tools.

Compiling technical test reports including recommendations based on the analysed test data.

 

Key qualifications/competencies

  • An Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma or competency gained in a similar role.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in High Voltage testing.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Partial Discharge Testing preferred
  • Drivers licence.
  • Ability to travel.
