Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer-Hybrid Work Schedule/Half-Day Friday's

As a Kinectrics Engineer your work will help maintain a safe and sustainable zero-emission energy source, providing engineering solutions for traditional nuclear as well as some of the newest technologies in nuclear today! 

 

About the Job

Our Mechanical Engineers work in cross-disciplinary teams on client projects involving design, modification and analysis with primary focus on design of modifications of various power generation facilities throughout the country.  You will support project teams involved in all aspects of design, including specifications and selection, preparation of calculations, engineering packages and technical reports to support client requirements. Occasional travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for coordination and field verification of designs required. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
  • 0-2 years of related practical work experience.
  • Academic knowledge and experience gained through internships or co-op positions of related engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using CAD software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future)
