Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact

 

Reporting to the Director Talent Management & Recruitment, the HR Specialist – Talent Management will support the Talent Management function and contribute to Kinectrics’ strategic objectives of being an employer of choice and nurturing a learning culture.

 

  • Support the Talent Management team in developing, delivering and continuously improving engaging learning solutions (e.g., workshops, e-learning, simulations) aligned with organizational goals, leadership capabilities, and business needs.
  • Facilitate high-Impact learning experiences and deliver dynamic, interactive training sessions (in-person and virtual) that drive engagement, knowledge retention, and behavior change across diverse audiences, including leaders and technical professionals.
  • Develop and facilitate training modules using various modalities such as videos, Articulate courses, online training sessions, in-person sessions.
  • Create, manage, and analyze talent metrics using dashboards and reports in the LMS, Success Factors to satisfy Talent Management reporting needs (using Excel, Dashboards, and others).
  • Provide support to other functional areas in HR and assist the HR team in delivering employee-focused HR solutions and tools as required.

 

What You Need to Succeed

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as human resources, learning and development, or education is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on learning and development.
  • Mastery of Adult Learning Principles and e-learning best practices.
  • Experience using LMS platforms to deliver learning initiatives.
  • Experience managing websites/intranets (Microsoft SharePoint) is an asset.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Experience using Articulate and Workday is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the Energy Sector is highly desirable.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.
