Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact

 

Reporting to senior marketing leadership, the ideal candidate will join our creative team and take ownership of visual story telling across social media and digital campaigns. The incumbent will have a passion for design, motion/video, and social media execution.  The position involves coordinating various marketing activities, contributing to campaigns, and plays a key role in supporting the marketing team.

 

  • Design high-quality visual assets for digital campaigns including but not limited to social media content, brochures, signage, presentations, tradeshow resources, print and digital advertisements.
  • Manage and organize Kinectrics’ social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt visual content to stay relevant and timely.
  • Create digital-first content including social media graphics, infographics, motion snippets to support projects.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Schedule and upload content for digital screens.
  • Coordinate with team members and external vendors as needed to execute deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics to ensure year-over-year growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to review creative based on performance data.
  • Support senior marketing leadership on special projects and requests.
  • Handles processing invoices, opening purchase orders and marketing procurement.
  • Support with key internal and external events as needed.
  • Delegate work to marketing co-op as required to support with marketing deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You Need to Succeed

 

  • Post-secondary degree in Design, Marketing, or a combination of related education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in communications/marketing in a digital capacity.
  • Comfortable writing short-form social copies (captions, headlines, CTAs).
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn, Adobe Creative Suites, Canva, and Premier Pro, After Effects and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and digital media composition.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates design, motion/video and social content.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including strong proofreading/copy-editing ability.
  • Exceptional listening skills and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and resourceful.
  • Exposure to utilizing AI in a marketing capacity.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.
