About the Position
- Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
- Location: 393 University Avenue, Toronto, ON - Hybrid
- Term Length: 16 months (May 2026 to August 2027)
- Discipline(s) Required: Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering, Engineering Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Year of Study: 3rd or 4th Year
- Salary: The hourly rate for this position is $24.44-$28.11 per hour. Please note, the salary information provided is intended to be used as a guideline. Final rate offered will vary upon candidate’s prior co-op/work experience, years of study completed, relevant skills, as well as internal equity considerations.
How You Will Make an Impact
You will be a member of our Internal Project Controls & Proposals Group.
This opportunity involves responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Interfacing with project managers, planners, other engineering disciplines, and client project controls SPOCs.
- Preparing client reports such as monthly accruals, cashflow, and bi-weekly project financial summary reports
- Assisting in overseeing the overall portfolio health by preparation of CPI, SPI, variance summary reports and monthly project metrics for the program manager.
- Assisting with commercial support including preparation of commercial dashboards
- Using Project Management Tools like Primavera P6, SAP and internal Kinectrics costing tools.
- Providing miscellaneous project support as required

What You Need to Succeed
The following knowledge and skills are essential in order to perform the job:
- Detail-orientated, proactive approach, and have good organizational and planning skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong excel skills and programming knowledge (Excel macros, SQL, etc.) would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff at all levels
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to be adaptable to a fast-paced working environment and an interest to be proficient in the client and internal company processes and procedures
- Familiarity with typical engineering disciplines and documentation
- Previous experience working in a Consulting Engineering environment would be an asset
- Previous experience in the nuclear industry would be an asset
- Bruce Power Site Access Security Clearance would be an asset, but not required
- Working knowledge of SAP will be an asset
