General Accountabilities

 

  • Reporting to the FCIO/FCIM Section Manager(s), you will manage the day-to-day execution of various Fuel Channel projects.
  • Monitor and report out on the cost and schedule adherence, including the preparation of various internal and external status reports, schedules, and plans.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day tasks and manage the project team to ensure that the project is executed as per our MMC process and project plans.
  • Assist in the non-conformance reporting process, including raising and dispositioning non-conformance reports and corrective action requests.
  • Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts, including estimates of costs, schedule, and resources requiredCarry out customerswork; prepare timely reports with recommendations based on results achieved.
  • Lead teams, who participate in various projects and provide project management supervision as required with effective problem solving.
  • Communicate project status and updates with customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with timely communication and project controls.
  • Manage small and large scale (+1M$) projects, understanding competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Prepare short form quotations and large complex proposals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

Selection Criteria

 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity and technical disciplines.
  • Strong customer orientation and commitment to Kinectrics and Business Unit goals.
  • Demonstrated skill in contract management and administration with positive track record of completing projects on budget and schedule in terms of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary team situations with a variety of partners and diverse issues and roles.
  • Strong oral and written communications.
  • Proven skills with a variety of software programs including MS Office, and MS Project.

 

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, scheduling and associated costs.
  • Knowledge and interpretation of national and international standards as they apply to this field.
  • Knowledge of nuclear quality program
  • Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance standards
  • Strong understanding and commitment to HU principles.
  • Must have excellent communications, technical report writing and oral presentation skills.
  • A four-year university education engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Four years industry experience is considered necessary for this role.
