Position: Purchasing/AP Clerk

Location: 800 Kipling Avenue, Toronto


General Accountabilities

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with Kinectrics policies and procedures
  • Assist staff or other members with vendor resolutions
  • Assist staff and other members with invoicing issues
  • Perform purchasing and finance activities related to materials and invoice receipting & allocations
  • Prepare and input data to appropriate business and accounting systems (SAP)
  • Upload Invoices to Purchase Orders
  • Process transactions check accuracy and make the necessary corrections.
  • Process updates to data bases (Vendor Database)
  • Perform routine clerical duties
  • Perform other duties as required


Selection Criteria

  • Completion of High School plus additional specialized courses in Purchasing
  • 1 years related experience or equivalent education is considered necessary to gain this experience
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
  • Proficient in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or relative applications experience in Purchasing, Inventory or Accounting
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to work independently on a day to day basis
  • Proven high level of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of assertiveness to communicate with employees across all levels of the organization
  • Operates with a high level of ethics due to the nature of employment
  • Previous experience in a multi-faceted purchasing and/or manufacturing environment
